Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is HEUHAUS, Námestie 1. mája 14, 811 06 Bratislava, Slovakia.

Booking requests and messages

When you send us a booking request, an email or a WhatsApp message, we process the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), dates of stay, number of guests and your message.

We use this information only to answer your request and, if you decide to book, to arrange your stay. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The request form is sent to our server and delivered to our inbox by the email delivery service SMTP2GO, which processes the data on our behalf.

If you contact us via WhatsApp, your message is also processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. As with any website, the hosting provider processes technical data (IP address, time of the request, requested page and browser type) in order to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own domain.

Google Maps and external links

The map in the Location section is loaded from Google Maps only after you click “Show interactive map”. From that moment Google receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy.

Links to booking platforms, WhatsApp and Google Maps take you to those services, which process personal data under their own terms.

How long we keep your data

We keep booking requests only for as long as is needed to handle them. Data relating to completed stays is kept for the period required by accounting and tax law.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to stay@heuhaus.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (dataprotection.gov.sk).
